    Good dark fruits with a hint of spicy oak. Palate is bright and juicy with well-balanced fruit, oak and appealing tannins. Will improve for up to 5 years.

  2. 2010 Château Pey La Tour Réserve, Bordeaux Supérieur

    Mellow nose, with aromas of dense, fleshy fruit. Tasty and rich, with surprising concentration, good purity and depth, low acidity and plump fleshy fruit. Solid mouthfeel and excellent length.

  3. 2011 Château de Valois, Pomerol

    Good deep dark ruby red. Spicy aromatic nose with ripe black fruit character. The palate is dominated by ripe berry fruit characteristics intermingled with spicy new oak. A good length with plenty of character.

  4. 2011 Château des Gravières, Collection Prestige, Graves

    Deep garnet-red with a slightly woody and toasted nose and aromas of prunes and liquorice. Fleshy, robust and well-balanced in the mouth with a firm, lengthy finish.

  5. 2007 Château Lynch Bages, Pauillac

    On the nose, the freshness of the fruit stands out, finding subtle harmony with the wood. On the palate, it is rounded, smooth and mellowed. The tannins are silky and very ripe. The dazzling finish oozes with great class and is astonishingly long.

  6. 2010 Château Plaisance, Grand Cru, St Emilion

    Deep ruby in the glass with concentrated black fruit and oak aromas. On the palate, the wine is powerful, with classy wood treatment and a wonderfully rich, sensuous structure and a long finish. Watchwords are accessibility, concentration and supple balance.

  7. 2014 Château La Croix de Queynac, Cordier

    This very fresh and fruity Bordeaux red offers violet notes, candied red berry aromas, fresh tannins and a juicy taste of blackcurrant and blackberries.

  8. 2010 Château d'Arsac Cru Bourgeois, Margaux

    Intense garnet-red in colour with a toasty, smoky nose, opening up to reveal a generous bouquet of red fruits. Silky and seductive palate, structured but rounded, with a concentrated middle and a flourish of vanilla and blackcurrant on the finish.

  9. 2009 Chateau La Louviere Red, Les Vignobles Andre Lurton

    A powerful wine, with an elegant bouquet with delicate hits of oak.
    Intense, deep colour with black tints. Intense nose of toast, cherry, vanilla and cinnamon.
    The nose is complex, mingling fruit with roasted aromas. Smooth, ample, generous upfront, not a hint of aggression, opens onto classy tannins.

  10. 2004 Château Haut Bernat, Puisseguin St Emilion

    Merlot dominated, soft, yet structured claret from the 'right banks'. The wine has ripe tannins and excellent fruit concentration, yet elegant.
