  1. 2006 Langi Shiraz, Mount Langi Ghiran

Complex red and black fruit characteristics, ripe oak and well integrated, fine grained tannin are the hallmarks of this full bodied but elegant wine.

  2. 2010 Viña Collada Rioja, Riscal

Clear, intense, deep cherry red with a violet hue. The nose is clean, medium intensity and youthful with aromas of strawberries and red cherries. The palate has a medium body with attractive ripe fruit flavours with a delicious savoury character and a hint of toast on the finish.

  3. 2011 Beaujolais Cuvée Traditionnelle V V, Domaine du Vissoux

Youthfully light cherry in colour, offering red stone fruit on the nose. The fruit is very stylishly extracted, generous, ripe and not shackled by too much tannin. The acidity is an integral part of the palate, keeping those cherry fruits juicy!

  4. 2007 Yatir Cabernet Shiraz Merlot

An oak-aged, full-bodied, fruity and spicy wine with complex aromas of ripe plums, cherries, blackberries, cinnamon, chocolate and coffee.

  5. 2007 Amarone Classico Corte Bra, Sartori

Ruby in colour; ripe fruit aromas, with notes of blackcurrant, raspberry, and dried herbs; full bodied on the palate with rich fruit flavours, bright acidity, and a lingering finish.

  6. 2011 Crozes Hermitage Papillon, Domaine Gilles Robin

Wow - immediate dancing Syrah perfume of plums and violets. Vibrant and exciting, lots going on. Great texture and balance between front-mid-end palate. Has freshness as well as opulence, tannin is very fine and well-textured and there’s great sustain of flavour on the finish.

  7. 2008 Sutherland Cabernet Blend, Thelema

This blend was aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. The wine is packed with dark
fruit flavours, and shows a pleasant spiciness on the palate. There is a refreshing sweet
    blackcurrant finish. Will reward cellaring.

  8. 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva, De Gras

Deep garnet in colour with hints of purple, has a classic nose of cassis and ripe berry fruit, with hints of spice. On the palate it is full bodied, with a fine structure of ripe tannin and complex concentrated fruit.

  9. 2011 Pinot Noir Lot 21, Vina Leyda

This delicate Pinot Noir is complex and elegant, with fine aromas of strawberry, cherry, orange peel and herbs, which combines perfectly with oak. Red berries, fresh and sweets are the first flavours in the palate, then cherries and soft tannins which linger in a long and persistent finish.

  10. 2008 Mazis Chambertin Grand Cru, Domaine Harmand Geoffroy

Concentrated nose of red and black fruit - fully ripe but without over ripeness, and with classic Burgundian herbal/gamey undertones. In the mouth, rich and concentrated, juicy and immediately very delicious. Tannin is present although velvety and in check, and there is enough acidity to provide freshness and balance.
