  1. 2013 Garnacha Tinta, Cop de Ma

Smack-in-the face fresh juicy red fruit sings from the glass. The palate is lively with red cherry and raspberry notes and hints of balsamic.

  2. 2012 Chianti Classico DOCG, Villa Cerna

The centuries-old relationship between the Cecchi family and Castellina in Chianti is the origin of Villa Cerna Chianti Classico. This fresh, modern style of Chianti has a vivid ruby colour that leads to an intensely floral bouquet of violet and iris over plum, cherry and spice. Silky tannins give a smooth mouth feel to the rich, perfumed flavours of dark cherry and dried flowers, while the mouthwatering acidity lends a refreshing quality to the stylish, dark fruit.

  3. 2013 Merlot, Mandrarossa

    2013 Merlot, Mandrarossa

    (6x75cl)

Mandrarossa Merlot is a soft but structured wine, with lively raspberry and stonefruit flavours balanced by clean acidity and supple tannins.

  4. 2012 Old Vine Zinfandel, Bogle Vineyards

This supple and mouth-filling vintage leads with juicy raspberry and ripe boysenberry fruit. Hints of spiced chocolate integrate well with fruit that is surprisingly luscious and silky on the palate, partnered with black pepper backbone that gives structure and weight. Flavours of toasted oak and pipe tobacco create further structure, allowing this wine to stand up to a variety of hearty fare.

  5. 2008 Château d'Issan, Margaux
    redwine

    2008 Château d'Issan, Margaux

    (12x75cl)

Currently extremely youthful with a dark ruby/purple colour, as well as a sweet nose of cassis and spring flowers. Although this wine will never be muscular or exceptionally concentrated, it overdelivers with a stylish, elegant, and well crafted harmony among its structural components.

  6. This exquisite Grenache-dominant Châteauneuf-du-Pape is sourced from the Plateau du Piedlong, one of the highest points of this world famous appellation. The 70 year old vines produce a spicy red which has aromas of raspberry, cherry, white pepper and dried violet. The full bodied palate asserts itself with flavours of dark cherry and bitter chocolate that align themselves with hints of blueberry, lavender and porcini. The fine balance of tannin, acidity and concentrated fruits mean this wine will keep on evolving in the glass and in the bottle.

  7. 2010 Cumaro, Rosso Conero, Umani Ronchi

Ruby-red core, with garnet hues and an intense, full, ethereal and very persistent bouquet. The palate is harmonious, with hints of wild cherry and fruits of the forest.

  8. 2011 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes, Domaine Charlopin

Deep ruby. Wild cherries and kirsch on the nose. Palate firm without austerity. Tannins textured and layered. Bright red cherry acidity and a hint of iodine lift the finish and lead on to the next glass.

  9. 2008 Beaune 1er Cru Les Theurons, Domaine Régis Rossignol Changarnier

Transparent red colour. Musky, chocolaty fruit; slightly mature-smelling. Real development of fruit aroma in the glass over time. On the palate, sweet, delicate fruit, slightly gamey. Excellent length, subtle fruit, light tannin.

  10. 2012 Cuarto Dominio Malbec, Cuarto Dominio

Cuarto Dominio is the expression of 2 very small and different lots in the San Carlos vineyard, at 900 meters over sea level. The difference between these 2 parcels basically comes from the soil composition. Lot A with only 2 Hectares has 70% sand, 15% lime and 15% clay while Lot B with a tiny dimension of 1.4 hectares has 90% sand, 10% lime and a big percentage of surface stones. While Lot A lends ripe plum and chocolate flavours, a very soft and supple mouthfeel with excellent structure and length, Lot B offers more blackberry fruit with a slight earthy mineral tone and notes of spicy black pepper, exceptional concentration and explosive floral aromatic.
