  1. 2010 Cabernet Sauv Merlot, Madfish

A dark crimson red colour of great intensity. The wine jumps from the glass with aromatic black cherry, blueberry and chocolate characters. These characters continue on to the palate with complexing flavours of roasted coffee beans, mulberries and savoury dusty tannins. The palate is rich and mouth filling with seamless oak and well balanced acidity.

  2. 2013 Primitivo della Puglia, Botromagno

The colour is deep ruby red. On the nose the wine shows a delicate scent of berry fruits. The palate is elegant, intense with soft natural tannins (no oak). The alcohol content is distinct but not overpowering.

  3. 2012 Pago Malarina Tempranillo, Bodegas Vallobera (Semi Crianza)

Medium deep purple coloured Rioja with an aroma of strawberry and cassis. Subtle oak influences compliment a light and supple fruity palate with a clean finish.

  4. 2010 Reserva, Pago de los Capellanes

The nose has a fine complexity with tones of ripened fruit such as cherry, cassis and plum all harmonised by the wood and spice character (vanilla and cocoa) with undercurrents of liquorice. The palate displays great balance with glossy, mature tannins and elegant fruit character that echoes the nose. The finish is long and elegant.

  5. 2008 Château d'Issan, Margaux

    2008 Château d'Issan, Margaux

    (12x75cl)

Currently extremely youthful with a dark ruby/purple colour, as well as a sweet nose of cassis and spring flowers. Although this wine will never be muscular or exceptionally concentrated, it overdelivers with a stylish, elegant, and well crafted harmony among its structural components.

  6. 2012 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Chateau Ste Michelle

The rich, concentrated Washington red fruit for this easy, accessible style of Cabernet Sauvignon is produced by Chateau Ste. Michelle, the founding winery of Washington State. The palate delivers complexity and structure, with its robust blackcurrant and plum flavours, and soft, silky tannins. A wine to savour on its own or with a mouth-watering rare fillet steak.

  7. 2011 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Vallerots, Dom. Chantal Lescure

Traditional in it's generous texture, firm tannins and fleshy raspberry fruit.

  8. 2013 Merlot del Veneto, Via Nova

Fresh and fragrant on the nose with abundant red cherry and plummy characteristics. The palate is medium bodied with crunchy red berry fruits, fine balance and a clean, fruit driven finish.

  9. 2008 Beaune 1er Cru Les Theurons, Domaine Régis Rossignol Changarnier

Transparent red colour. Musky, chocolaty fruit; slightly mature-smelling. Real development of fruit aroma in the glass over time. On the palate, sweet, delicate fruit, slightly gamey. Excellent length, subtle fruit, light tannin.

  10. 2013 Plansel Selecta Reserva, Quinta da Plansel

Dark garnet with floral notes reminiscent of violets and orange blossom. Wild dark fruits with a hint of spice on the palate.
