  1. 2012 The FMC, Chenin, Ken Forrester Wines

The pinnacle of what we consider to be the finest expression of the grapes of this varietal an icon chenin, a challenge to the world! Rich, layered with dried apricot, vanilla and honey. Will gain additional complexity with cellaring.

  2. 2012 Tilly's Vineyard Dry White, Henschke

Grapefruit, nectarine and peach flavours on the nose together with a tantalising grassy note from the Sauvignon Blanc. The ensemble is a really refreshing wine with plenty of zippy freshness on the finish.

  3. 2011 The Adamastor, Strandveld

    2011 The Adamastor, Strandveld

    (6x75cl)

Floral and herbal aromas, with an intense flintiness. The palate is full and creamy, with a
combination of toasted oak flavours and a dry minerality on the finish.

  4. 2012 Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Signoria, Zaccagnini

Colour: Intense straw yellow with greenish hue, brilliant. Bouquet: Elegant hints of acacia and delicate notes of field flowers. Taste: Gentle, soft, intense and longlasting.

  5. 2011 Brauneberger Juffer Riesling Spätlese, Paulinshof

Pale lemon yellow. Minerals, lemons and a hint of classic Riesling hydrocarbon aromas on the nose. Beautiful balance of medium sweetness, playful but structured acidity and low alcohol. Very long finish. Very fine.

  6. 2012 Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru La Garenne, Domaine Gilles Bouton

Intense aromas of apple, pear and zesty citrus fruit combine with creaminess and a notion of minerality. Remarkably concentrated and powerful for a Puligny with intense fruit framed by oak and a pervasive, underlying minerality.

  7. 2012 Cruz de Piedra Macabeo, Bodega Virgen de la Sierra

Very pale in colour and pure and clean on nose developing into light tropical aromas. Ripe and rich with good length of fruit on the palate. The wine has balanced acidity and a long creamy finish while remaining very clean. Excellent value for money.

  8. 2011 Tokaji Furmint Dry, Patricius

Fresh and light white with walnut, almond and mint aromas and flavours with hints of honey. Complex with a long finish.

  9. 2013 Puiattino, Pinot Grigio IGT, Giovanni Puiatti

Pale in colour, with fresh grassy notes and hints of green apples. The palate has a touch of honeyed richness but is fresh and steely, making it a wonderful aperitif.

  10. 2007 Gewurztraminer Cuvée des Seigneurs de Ribeaupierre, Trimbach

Redolent of roses, lychees and spices, this immensely rich Gewurztraminer is so unctuous and viscous when young that it can seem slightly sweet even though it is fermented almost dry. This massive body is balanced by an almost chalky fresh minerality and extract with a result that the wine boasts the elegance and finesse which are the Trimbach trademark.
