  1. 2011 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos, Domaine Louis Michel

Serve between 12 and 14°c and preferably aerate the wine in a decanter before drinking. White pepper and nutmeg complete the predominantly mineral character. This wine may appear austere and virile but is expressive in the mouth and designed to age for many years.

  2. 2011 Beaune Clos des Mouches 1er Cru Blanc, Joseph Drouhin

Floral, fruity, grilled almonds, incredible complexity and power, but with elegance.

  3. 2012 Chablis Grand Cru Les Grenouilles, Domaine Louis Michel

Wonderfully intense, classicaly austere character and packed with intensly detailed fruit right through to the long, steely finish. Offers razor sharp detail, good power and pronounced yet balancing acidity. This Classic, old style Chablis at its best.

  4. 2013 Pouilly Fuissé Clos sur la Roche, Domaine Saumaize Michelin

Fragrant minerals, white fruit and floral aromas are abundant on the nose. It is powerfull and concentrated on the palate with plenty of peach, apple and ripe pear fruits coating its multi faceted mineral edge. The finish stays full and stony, with a citrus finish.

  5. 2004 Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières, Domaine Jean-Michel Gaunoux

Generous toasted almond nose with overtones of honey. Full bodied and very complex in the mid palate with a silky, glycerol texture intertwined with ripe fruit and buttery oak and a clean, mineral finish.

  6. 2012 Chablis 1er Cru Les Vaillons, Domaine Bernard Defaix

There is a deft touch of wood surrounding the white orchard fruit and honeysuckle aromas that have glimpses of oyster shell poking through. The rich, forward and relatively generous flavours possess a seductive mouth feel and excellent complexity on the dry for the vintage finish. This should age well for the medium term.

  7. 2012 Chassagne Montrachet Blanc, Domaine Bernard Moreau

Medium lemon yellow in the glass. Fruity nose showing grapefruit, pear, and well-judged oak. On the palate, the finesse and balance of the wine comes through with enlivening acidity and a complex seam of minerality. Old World subtlety and depth at its best.

  8. 2012 Chablis 1er Cru, Montée de Tonnerre, Domaine Louis Michel

Classicaly austere nose of white stone fruit, chalk and minerals. The palate is crisp, dry and medium bodied, with steely acidity and a well defined, elegant palate. The citrus, green apple and pear fruit flavours last well into the deliciously refreshing, lengthy finish.

  9. 2011 Chablis Grand Cru Bougros, Domaine Bernard Defaix

Very pleasant with flavours of flowers, honeysuckle in particular, and mineral notes, it is also full in the mouth with good length.

  10. 2011 Pouilly-Fuissé, Les Crays Vieilles Vignes, Manciat-Poncet

Smoky, toasty and pineappley on the nose, shows a palate pleasing breadth of minerals, grapefruit and red apples, some toasty, nutty highlights and a soft, juicy finish.
