  1. 2011 Pouilly-Fuissé La Roche, Domaine Manciat-Poncet

Up front, generous nose of tropical and ripe white fruits. The palate is suggestive of its lees contact in barrel, but only hints at this with bready flavours squeezed in around its pineapple fruit and mineral acidity.

  2. 2012 Mas de Lunes Blanc, Ctx du Languedoc

Floral and textured, with notes of acacia blossom, peach and vanilla.

  3. 2012 Vermentino, Domaine la Provenquière

Clean, citrus nose with fresh pear, and hints of herb and spice. In the mouth the same citrus fruits are apparent, as well as some herbal touches (cinnamon), and a zesty mineral edge, which makes for an extremely clean finish, showing great fruit.

  4. 2011 Chablis 1er Cru Montmain, Domaine Louis Michel

Bright white gold in colour with a pronounced, vibrant nose showing citrus and floral aromas with hints of brioche. The palate is full of mineral flavours alongside zippy citrus and green apple characteristics. The finish is elegant and very fine.

  5. 2013 Sancerre, Domaine Franck Millet

The wine has an intensely aromatic nose of leaves, herbs and minerals. It has fresh acidity and is dry and fruity with a flinty quality.

  6. 2013 Pinard Cuvée Classique Blanc, Domaine Vigné-Lourac

A light, crisp blend from Alain Gayrel made with fresh, vibrant grape varieties. This is an excellent aperitif wine, that will also match gracefully light dishes such as chicken salads. Excellent value for money, and a wine that very much over-delivers on its name (Pinard is the French name for 'plonk'!).

  7. 2013 Côtes du Rhône Villages Laudun Blanc, Laudun Chusclan

Nose characterized by a bouquet of white fruits (pear) and white flowers (acacia and citrus). Delicate freshness and minerality on the palate.

  8. 2013 Chardonnay Les Mougeottes IGP Pays d'Oc

Lemon and vanilla on the nose with a round, fruity body and a hint of vanilla oak character. Has more ripeness than a Macon and more savouriness than the New World, making it ideal by the glass.

  9. 2012 Gewurztraminer, Trimbach
    whitewine

    2012 Gewurztraminer, Trimbach

    (6x75cl)

Full, balanced and very aromatic. Depending on the vintage, the principal aromas of Gewurztraminer are lychee, rose, ginger and geranium. The Trimbach Gewurztraminer is dry and shows classic restraint, without any loss of the Gewurztraminer's exotic and spicy feature.

  10. 2013 Petit Chablis, Olivier Tricon

A bright, elegant Petit Chablis with traditional crisp minerality and refreshing citrus-like acidity. Beautifully balanced.
