  1. 2011 Meursault Clos de Mazeray, Domaine Jacques Prieur

Pale lemon yellow with a beguiling nose like walking into a patisserie whilst sniffing a peony. Unbelievable concentration on the palate - premier cru + quality. Textured, with absolutely perfect oaking adding vanilla, texture and weight without dominating. Marzipan and crunchy lemon flavours with beautifully balanced acidity. A powerful wine, with a very characteristic Meursault roundness, but in no way heavy. Finish is lifted and long, with great finesse.

  2. 2013 Viognier VDP de la Principauté d'Orange, Janasse

The nose is fresh, fruity and aromatic, with ripe tropical and dried fruit characteristics. The palate is medium bodied with a succulent texture, balanced alcohol and acidity and a great concentration of dried fruit flavours, such as apricot and peach, with a honeyed, silky finish.

  3. 2012 Mâcon Charnay Les Chênes, Domaine Manciat-Poncet

Fresh, youthfully ripe aromas of apples and some bready character, the palate is soft and succulent showing grapefruit and mineral flavours with a clean, refreshing finish.

  4. 2012 Chablis 1er Cru, Montée de Tonnerre, Domaine Louis Michel

Classicaly austere nose of white stone fruit, chalk and minerals. The palate is crisp, dry and medium bodied, with steely acidity and a well defined, elegant palate. The citrus, green apple and pear fruit flavours last well into the deliciously refreshing, lengthy finish.

  5. 2011 Pouilly-Fuissé La Roche, Domaine Manciat-Poncet

Up front, generous nose of tropical and ripe white fruits. The palate is suggestive of its lees contact in barrel, but only hints at this with bready flavours squeezed in around its pineapple fruit and mineral acidity.

  6. 2011 Vania, Saint Joseph Blanc, Domaine Guy Farge

Intense acacia and cardamom on the nose followed up with fresh figs, apricots, honey, vanilla and biscuits. Mouthfilling breadth deliciously balanced with filigree mineral structure.

  7. 2012 Cotes Du Rhone Blanc, Le Pas de la Beaume, Cave de Cairanne

Clear bright gold, tinted with green. Medium intensity with floral and white peach notes on the nose. An attractive level of acidity keeps the wine fresh and balanced on the palate.

  8. 2012 Condrieu Les Chaillets, Vieilles Vignes, Domaine Cuilleron

Wonderfully opulent and perfumed on the nose with dollops of honey allied to blossom and spicy complexity. The palate is rich and full again with great acidity, giving the wine and exceptional balance, and we suspect longevity.

  9. 2013 Viognier IGP Pays d'Oc, Leduc

A vibrant, luminous colour with green hues. On the nose, peach, apricot and almond aromas prevail with a refreshing yet fruity palate with a smooth and round finish.

  10. 2013 Mâcon-Villages, Cave de l'Aurore

Pale gold in colour with a subtle nose of tropical fruit and refined oak. The palate is well balanced with ripe fruit and fresh well balanced acidity. The finish is long and concentrated with hints of apples and a touch of creaminess.
