Aromatically there are orange blossoms, honeysuckle and jasmine. On the palate it's a real citrus fiesta with sweet lemon, limes and mandarins. There is also an element of minerality about the wine with subtle notes of stone fruit and almonds. The sugar acid balance is described as 'off dry' and the finish is clean making this a good aperitif and food wine.
-
The deep straw yellow colour of the wine is matched by its richness on the palate. Complex and full it mixes the aromatic qualities of Vermentino with the spiciness of the new oak. Balanced by good acidity the wine is excellent.
-
Bright pale lemon yellow in the glass with a nose showing elderflower, honeysuckle and passion fruit. On the palate it refreshes with delicious minerality and a gossamer-light body.
-
Pale yellow with greenish reflexes; nutty on the nose with a hint of exotic fruits such as mango and honeydew melon overlaying a discreet aroma of oak; full and broad on the palate, the richness cut by firm acidity.
-
Intensely perfumed and seductive with a range of exotic aromas and flavours of lychee, jasmine, rosewater and mango. It's big yet elegant, perfumed yet dry and very complex.
-
This wine has a delicate pale straw colour with highlights of green. The fragrant fresh nose displays notes of a floral, green fruit character with a minerally undertone. The palate mirrors the nose with its fresh and delicate approach, dry and balanced this wine has a good length.
-
Aromas of passionfruit and grapefruit reproduced on the palate with a touch of banana.
-
Pale yellow with green reflections. This wine shows aromas of green apples, white flowers and wild honey, typical aromas of the vines grown at an altitude. Hints of mineral and mint. The wine is young and it still has primary aromas designed to facilitate aging. On the palate, it shows refreshing acidity in the style of Etna. Long and persistent finish.
-
Pale yellow in colour with hints of green. Very complex nose with abundant fruit (lime, grapefruit, passion fruit and melon), green grass and an underlying minerality that adds personality. Crisp palate, medium-bodied with a clean, long lingering finish.
-
A bright lemon/gold colour with an aromatic nose with notes of lychee and ginger. It is slightly drier in style than the 2009 vintage, yet elegant with a more refined phenolic structure and fresh acidity on the finish. The lychee and ginger flavours also dominate the palate.
