  1. 2011 Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Les Macherelles, Domaine Jean Pillot

The intricate nose offers lime, pineapple, creamy vanilla and touches of hazelnut. There is a stylish balance between power and elegance on the palate with steely acidity pinioning the ripe pineapple and juicey peach flavours. There are gracefull touches of oak to be found here too, with dried nuts and honey adding complexity and lending their weight through the dry, crisp, flinty finish.

  2. 2010 The Stump Jump White Blend, d'Arenberg

Riesling gives the finesse and class to this wine, Sauvignon blanc adds loads of aromatics, and the Marsanne and Roussanne provide complexity, weight and nuttiness to the palate.
The resulting wine is an exotic mix of citrus, stone fruits, passionfruit, guava and tinned pineapple which develops into a long savoury, nutty like finish.
The mouthfeel is rich and luscious without being overly oily, kept in check by a fine line of mineral acidity.

  3. 2013 Blanc de Blancs, Vin de France, Le Rouleur

An attractive glossy, pale yellow with crispy, fresh citrus and floral aromas with lively herby apple flavours on the palate. Soft in texture with a persistant finish.

  4. 2012 Menetou Salon Blanc Domaine du Chatenoy, Pierre Clement

Lively citrus and grassy herb aromas. The palate is medium to light in body, dry and with good limey acidity that magnifies the citrus and mineral characters. Lengthy, clean and absolutely no oak on this 100% Sauvignon Blanc.

  5. 2013 Ailalá Treixadura, Ribeiros Do Avia

Pale gold in colour with lively reflections. There are clean, powerful aromatics on the nose with apricot, white flowers and a sort of saline, sea-shell undertone. Spices such as clove, mint and fennel are also present. The palate displays sweet lemon and ripe melon with plenty of zing and grapefruit peel. A wine of great complexity and style and with bags of character. Treixadura is truly a noble grape!

  6. 2013 Rama Viura Blanco, Bodegas Covinas

Lively tropical notes of pineapple and bananas, with a floral hint.

  7. 2013 Sauvignon Reserva, Viña Leyda

Intense and fruity on the nose with citrus aromas of grapefruit and mandarin. Bright and fresh on the palate with citrus and apple character. Light body and a lingering grapefruit aftertaste.

  8. 2010 Joseph Hill Gewurztraminer, Henschke

Pale gold in colour. Lifted perfumed aromas of lychee, Turkish delight and rose petal with tropical hints. The palate shows perfumed fruits and is sweet and spicy, richly flavoured, a nice
texture with crisp acidity and good length.

  9. 2013 Gewurztraminer Classici DOC, Alto Adige, Colterenzio

Brilliant colour slight straw yellow colour. Spices and perfumed aromas on the nose. The palate offers cinnamon, lychee and flavours. Clean crisp acidity and long elegant finish.

  10. 2012 Fiano di Avellino, Clelia Romano, Colli di Lapio

Highly aromatic nose of honey, lemon, liquorice and tarragon, plus a saline, brothy character. Strong acidity and concentrated, piquant flavors of citrus rind and minerals give this very impressive yet somehow delicate wine great intensity. Finishes very long and firm.
