  1. 2013 Verdicchio Classico, Villa Bianchi, Umani Ronchi

Brilliant straw yellow colour with greenish tints. The bouquet is fine and intense, fruity and floral. The palate is pleasant, vibrant and fresh notes, followed by a typically almond aftertaste.

  2. 2013 Sauvignon Blanc, Yealands Estate

This wine shows flavours of passionfruit and blackcurrant leaf with underlying notes of wet stone and thyme. The palate displays good weight and texture, with a focused mineral acidity which delivers fantastic length to the wine.

  3. 2012 Petit Chablis, Olivier Tricon

A bright, elegant Petit Chablis with traditional crisp minerality and refreshing citrus-like acidity. Beautifully balanced.

  4. 2013 Croix des Champs Sauv de Touraine, Les Vign des Coteaux Romanais

A subtle, delicate expression of Sauvignon, underlined on the palate with a silky mouthfeel. Lemon, gooseberry and blackcurrant bud are detected in this fruity, elegant and racy wine. A classic expression of Sauvignon de Touraine.

  5. 2011 Le Limoux, Chateau Rives Blanques

A blend of Mauzac, Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay. Complex and very winey on the nose, with notes of Calvados, apple pie, cloves and herbs, and with oak very much in the background. Apple and peach flavours on the palate. Really quite refined and complex - and very persistent. Lovely.

  6. 2012 Viognier VDP de la Principauté d'Orange, Janasse

The nose is fresh, fruity and aromatic, with ripe tropical and dried fruit characteristics. The palate is medium bodied with a succulent texture, balanced alcohol and acidity and a great concentration of dried fruit flavours, such as apricot and peach, with a honeyed, silky finish.

  7. 2009 Innes Pinot Gris, Henschke

    2009 Innes Pinot Gris, Henschke

    (6x75cl)

Beautiful rich aromas of fig, ripe pear and tropical fruits with honeysuckle and nectarine notes. The wine has a round and slightly oily texture with stone-fruit flavours a creamy/leesy complexity, great length and freshness.

  8. 2012 Beurrot Pinot Gris, Kooyong

Bright straw colour. Aromas of struck match accentuate an expressive nose of bomboniere almond, spun sugar, nougat, lychee and sweet fresh hay. The palate is rich yet dry and structured, with a viscous texture characteristic of the variety, moderate alcohol and fresh acidity. The residual sugar is relatively low for this style, at 3.7g/L and helps to emphasize the purity and line of this wine. Best enjoyed whilst youthful, this wine will build further richness over several years.

  9. 2012 Puiattino, Pinot Grigio IGT, Giovanni Puiatti

Pale in colour, with fresh grassy notes and hints of green apples. The palate has a touch of honeyed richness but is fresh and steely, making it a wonderful aperitif.

  10. 2012 Riesling, Carrick Winery
    whitewine

    2012 Riesling, Carrick Winery

    (6x75cl)

Aromatically there are orange blossoms, honeysuckle and jasmine. On the palate it's a real citrus fiesta with sweet lemon, limes and mandarins. There is also an element of minerality about the wine with subtle notes of stone fruit and almonds. The sugar acid balance is described as 'off dry' and the finish is clean making this a good aperitif and food wine.
