  1. 2011 Sancerre Cuvée Insolite, Domaine Franck Millet

    Pronounced, expressive nose of green fruits, fresh cut grass and minerals. The palate is clean and ultra crisp; medium bodied and packed with greengage, lime and gooseberry fruit. The finish is clean, showing a real sense of place through its minerality.

  3. 2011 Gavi di Gavi DOCG, Fontanafredda

    One of Italy's most fashionable whites, it is noted for acute dryness and fresh, flinty acidity. This is a bright straw-yellow wine with greenish highlights. It has a full, delicate, elegant bouquet which brings flowers and fresh fruit to mind - mostly lemons, lilies of the valley and green apples. Its palate is attractively young, dry, fresh and well-balanced.

  4. Intense, brilliant golden-yellow/green in colour with aromas of orange blossom, cumquat peel and jasmine. Full, rich and soft on the palate; the exotic and sensual nature of this wine makes it a great substitute for Chardonnay or Pinot Gris. Hard not to drink!

  5. 2010 Reserve Chardonnay, Yering Station

    Pale straw in colour with refined aromas of citrus, peach and fig characters, a touch floral with some subtle oak complexity and hints of hazelnut and cream. The palate is focused, intense and finely structured displaying exceptional purity of flavour, fine acidity and length.

  6. 2012 Black Label Gruner Veltliner, Yealands

    Pale lemon with green hues. Stone fruit, honeysuckle and spice dominate the nose. the palate is rich and textured, showing varietal definition with notes of pepper and spice, which integrate well with fine acidity, that provides a backbone to the wine.

  7. 2010 Joseph Hills Gewurztraminer, Henschke

    Pale gold in colour. Lifted perfumed aromas of lychee, Turkish delight and rose petal with tropical hints. The palate shows perfumed fruits and is sweet and spicy, richly flavoured, a nice
    texture with crisp acidity and good length.

    White flowers, lemon notes and minerality touch on the nose. Fresh and vibrant, grapefruit and citrus, white peach, this wine has a long finish which is a sign of a beautiful future for the wine.

    The pureness of this Riesling is shown in its floral, fruity and delightful flavours Elegant, mineral, expressive, with cherimoya, tangy, mandarin fruit and flower hints. Creamy texture in palate, with sweet front palate, honey suckle, white fruit, crisp acidity and juicy-lingering ending.

    An attractive young wine of a delicate gold colour with a touch of spritz. The bouquet brims with light elderflower, citrus and honeyed tropical fruits and is supported with a well balanced and satisfying middle palate. The gentle acidity and good fruit flavours, particularly grapefruit, help to provide a sustained length and finish.
