  1. 2011 Condrieu Vertige, Domaine Yves Cuilleron

The Vertige is sourced from Yves' oldest and highest vines. Tropical and citric fruits flavour persist, balanced by 18 months in oak.

  2. NV Premium Sorbara, Cleto Chiarli

Dry red wine with perfume of strawberries and wild berries.Fresh and elegant with a great lingering fruity character.

  3. 2013 Château Laulerie Merlot, Bergerac, Vignoble Dubard

Soft and supple Merlot blend from up-and-coming young winemaker Grégory Dubard in Bergerac. Lively red fruit with a hint of pepper characterise the nose of this red wine. A supple and velvety palate, accompanied by berry fruit aromas make this medium-weight wine easy-to-drink and ideal for the summer.

  4. 2013 Alma de Tinto Mencia, Pazo das Tapias

Mencia is native to this rather rugged part of the world and the wines often have a certain rusticity about them. The Alma de Tinto is bright and brambly with bags of fresh fruit alongside hints of developed, dried fruit nuances.

  5. 2012 Chardonnay, Carrick Winery

    2012 Chardonnay, Carrick Winery

    (6x75cl)

Tropical fruits along with the cool climate attributes of Central Otago combine to make a truly amazing Chardonnay that could rival anything else in the world. It is a flinty elegant wine with good structure and balance. Barrel fermented in French oak.

  6. 2010 Beaune Clos des Mouches 1er Cru Rouge, Joseph Drouhin

Red fruits and undergrowth. Serious but so drinkable.

  7. 2013 Cirò Bianco Greco, Librandi

Fresh and fruity wine with a good vibrant finish.

  8. 2006 Baron de Chirel Reserva, Marqués de Riscal

A very intense, black-cherry colour with hardly any signs of evolution. The initial impact on the nose is balsamic and highly complex, opening up to reveal hints of leather, roasted coffee and liqueur nuances. In the mouth it proves warm and smooth, with a very long finish full of sweet sensations thanks to the excellent ripeness of the tannins.

  9. 2008 Volnay 1er Cru, Domaine Régis Rossignol Changarnier

Savoury but with intense fruit that opens up with aeration. Slight element of mineral/gritty character displayed by the village level Volnay. Greater intensity of fruit, which persists excellently on the palate, and balanced, fine-grained tannin. Smokey/savoury character on finish. Superb.

  10. 2012 Crozes Hermitage Clos des Grives, Domaine Combier

Clos de Grives is wonderfully vibrant in colour with a rich complex nose of chocolate and mocha underlaid by intense fruit character and a hint of tobacco. The tannins and the oak are wonderfully well integrated and the finish is a joy, a rare mixture of complexity, concentration and elegance.
