  1. 2010 Châteauneuf du Pape Tradition, Domaine de la Janasse

Deep red-ruby. Fruit-driven aromas of cassis, redcurrant, smoke, spice and animal fur. Soft, lush and ripe, with enticing fruit and good balance. Easy going, generous and balanced for early drinking appeal.

  2. 2012 Côtes du Rhône Cairanne Les Travers, Brusset

A deep garnet colour with youthful purplish hints at the rim. It has a fresh spicy nose with aromas of Christmas cake and mulled wine. On the palate it is concentrated and very elegant with fine spicy concentrated red and black fruits, soft tannins, and real elegance on the finish.

  3. 2012 Côtes du Rhône, Domaine de la Mirandole

Light, ruby red with a perfumed, fruity nose of violet and raspberry. The palate is balanced by juicy damson and raspberry fruit, smooth tannins, good acidity and a spicy finish. Beautifully structured.

  4. 2011 Harmonie Cornas, Domaine Guy Farge

Dark ruby with very densely furled aromas of blueberry, violets, a hint of bacon and wet gravel. Cornas power and complexity on the palate with extremely well-knit elegance for one so young (as Guy says "it's not an old war horse"). Layers of very fine tannins show pedigree, but also extreme drinkability. Long

  5. 2013 Côtes du Rhône Blanc, Domaine de la Janasse

Bone dry with real power. Aromas of peach and apricot, excellent concentration on the palate with vibrant acidity, a full mouthfeel and refreshing acidity on the finish.

  6. 2013 Côtes du Rhône Rouge, Domaine de la Janasse

Attractive black plum in colour. The nose offers gobs of jammy black fruits intermixed with a delicious spiciness. The body is equally full, vibrant and concentrated. A well structured, well made wine all round.

  7. NV Les Rouliers, Henri Bonneau

    NV Les Rouliers, Henri Bonneau

    (12x75cl)

You don't find many Vin de Table of this quality. An explosive nose of strawberry jam, fig, black cherry with animal and tobacco notes. Similar flavours are found on the palate. Supple, savory, superb.

  8. 2012 Syrah, Cave de Saint Desirat IGP Ardeche

Black pepper and Parma violets on a medium-weight body with vibrant acidity and light tannins. Classic Northern Rhone.

  9. 2013 Crozes Hermitage, Cuvée Laurent, Domaine Combier

Almost opaque with a purple hue, this is classic syrah from the Northern Rhone. Rich and spicy on the nose with an underlying savoury quality, the palate is rich and spicy too,
with ripe approachable tannins. The finish is long, smooth and velvety.

  10. This exquisite Grenache-dominant Châteauneuf-du-Pape is sourced from the Plateau du Piedlong, one of the highest points of this world famous appellation. The 70 year old vines produce a spicy red which has aromas of raspberry, cherry, white pepper and dried violet. The full bodied palate asserts itself with flavours of dark cherry and bitter chocolate that align themselves with hints of blueberry, lavender and porcini. The fine balance of tannin, acidity and concentrated fruits mean this wine will keep on evolving in the glass and in the bottle.
