    Wisps of cloves, nutmeg and five spice add definition to the layers of dark stone fruits and espresso. The palate has density yet also displays savoury,textural components and fine-grained ripe tannins.

    Vibrant purple hues with a deep ruby red core. The nose has masses of black fruits, red currants and spice which support hints of espresso and dried spice notes. On the palate, the wine is soft yet maintains expressions of cassis, anise and earthiness. Savoury, rich and yet balanced and restrained.

  3. 2010 Basket Pressed Shiraz, Skillogalee

    This Shiraz is another dark, rich wine in the Skillogalee tradition, with intense colour and powerful, warm aromas and flavours. On the nose and the palate there are berryfruit and plum characters and hints of eucalyptus or mint can sometimes be found. Tannin structure is fine but firm and there is a good level of natural acidity.

  4. NV Are You Game? Sparkling Brut, Fowles Wine

    A delicate straw colour. Aromas of strawberries and apples with some subtle savoury notes. This wine is light and fresh with a fine bead and some yeasty complexity.

  5. 2011 d'Arry's Original Shiraz Grenache, d'Arenberg

    This wine displays a level of finesse and freshness that we don’t always encounter in other vintages of the same wine. In a somewhat surprising contrast to this, the wine also displays a dense and varied array of fruit characters, from bright lifted purple plums and rhubarb through to more spice and herbal notes such as sage and cardamom, into even more complex earthy flavours of beetroot and soot.
    These flavours are perfectly supported by a frame of fine, minerally tannins that add a subtle grip and enticingly long finish.

  6. 2009 The Cenosilicaphobic Cat Sagrantino Cinsault, d'Arenberg

    The nose has a dominant dried herb character and savoury nuances of saltbush, red currant leaf and a hint of black tea.
    Dried herbs also run through the palate from the attack right through to the fruit tannins on the finish. There is wonderful depth with red cherries and layers of rich coffee, dark chocolate and nicely integrated oak. The Cinsault component is harmonious and provides lift, softness, fine minerality and bright acidity. The chalky fruit tannins are prominent and vibrant as typical for Sagrantino.

  7. 2014 Reserve Shiraz, Tooma River, Warburn Estate

    Shiraz has found its natural home in the sun kissed Australian vineyard, where it produces a ripe, fruit forward style loved for its immediate approachability. Our Reserve Shiraz is no exception, with a rich nose redolent with red and black berry aromas and a smooth, textured palate dripping with juicy dark fruits, hints of chocolate and lively spices.

  8. 2010 Haven Pinot Noir, Kooyong

    Spicy, smokey, gamey aromas, leavened in the mouth with hints of anise and heather over succulent black cherry fruit. Well-structured, with richness and a warm, enveloping texture.

  9. 2013 Semillon Chardonnay, Mullygrubber, Warburn Estate

    The Semillon Chardonnay blend is an Australian classic, delivering an approachable and easily enjoyable style. Ripe, fresh fruit aromas of peach and melon precede a round, juicy palate packed with tropical and citrus fruit flavours. Finishing with a crisp, refreshing lift, this is ideal as a versatile partner to fish, salads and white meat or great as a refreshing glass by itself.

  10. 2013 Miamup Chardonnay, Howard Park

    Vibrant green gold in colour with delicate scents of white field flowers, pear drop essence and citrus oils enriched with minerals, nutmeg spice and caramel. The palate has a pliable fruit core of citrus, peach and dried pear is moulded around the fine nut -meal texture and crème brulee richness. The wine is finished with a fresh flint/mineral acidity to balance the ripe fruit.
