  1. 2012 Arabesque, Domaine de Montvac,Vacqueyras

Pure, intense yet delicate aromas of redcurrant and licquorice, without oak. Structure very elegant with fine tannins and balanced acidity. Poised and long.

  2. 2011 Variation, Domaine de Montvac, Vacqueyras

Candied fruit and spice on the nose, fine sweet tannins, generous body with currants and prunes with a fine, smooth finish and no oak.

  3. 2013 Le Pas Du Moine Rosé, Gassier

Pale pink colour. Beguiling and elegant fruit, dry, super-smooth and balanced body. Very moreish.

  4. 2010 Châteauneuf du Pape Tradition, Domaine de la Janasse

Deep red-ruby. Fruit-driven aromas of cassis, redcurrant, smoke, spice and animal fur. Soft, lush and ripe, with enticing fruit and good balance. Easy going, generous and balanced for early drinking appeal.

  5. 2011 Faugeres, Domaine des Prés Lasses

Subtly spicy, with ripe red fruit aromas and flavours. Beautifully soft and generous texture with silky-fine tannins and characteristic Southern French 'garrigue' flavours - thyme, rosemary, marjoram and other wild herbs.

  6. 2009 Cadenzia GSM, d'Arenberg

The nose is full of vibrant fresh fruit including plum, raspberry, currant and cranberry with varietal spice and a lovely violet overtone providing a delicate touch.
The elegant palate adds rhubarb to the fruit spectrum with a very attractive pink musk nuance emerging on the mid palate with a second layer of earth and dried herbs providing a savoury kick.
The lively acidity is linear and focused and a real feature. The tannins have good weight and build through the palate with a handsome presence on the long finish.

  7. 2010 The Ironstone Pressings GSM, d'Arenberg

On the nose we are struck by the typical dark fruits. Plums, mulberries, fresh soil and more developed peaty like notes are all apparent, with an underlying lick of exotic Indian spice.
An abundance of fresh fruits on the palate marry well with the more complex characters of quince paste, cinnamon, nutmeg, star anise and earthy beetroot. Driving the core of the wine is that vintage trademark in the form of graphite and wet stone. This wine, while appearing open and generous already, will continue to age well thanks to the lively line of acidity and the abundance of fine gritty tannins.

  8. 2010 The Gypsy, Shiraz Grenache, Ken Forrester Wines

The character is somewhat wild, a little brambly with hints of nutmeg, cinnamon, dark spices, with vanilla scents and a distinct, concentrated red-fruit focus. Great for laying down and keeping for at least ten years but already rewarding if allowed to breathe in a decanter.

  9. 2013 M de Marguerite Rosé, Château Sainte Marguerite

Blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvedre. This rosé is harmonious and fruity; very pleasant as an aperitif. Its complexity and its broad aromatic pallet comprise great complexity.

  10. NV Les Rouliers, Henri Bonneau

    NV Les Rouliers, Henri Bonneau

    (12x75cl)

You don't find many Vin de Table of this quality. An explosive nose of strawberry jam, fig, black cherry with animal and tobacco notes. Similar flavours are found on the palate. Supple, savory, superb.
