  1. 2009 Cuvée du Pere Lucien Vouvray Sec, Sylvain Gaudron

Honey and straw aromas with a dry complex palate, layers of texture, golden quince flavours, balanced acidity and a long finish.

  2. NV Heritage Sparkling Brut, Welmoed

Brilliant delivery combining early picked Chenin and Sauvignon to give an uplifting palate and a balanced aftertaste. The perfect party bubbles.

  3. 2011 T Noble Late Harvest, Ken Forrester Wines

This golden wine with fresh, green tones is in a lighter style, clean yet unctuously sweet. Sumptuous peach, apricot flavours, overlaid with a tropical lushness of melon and pineapple. Ripe sweetness, yet tangy, with sweet and sour zip, wood spice on the finish.

  4. 2012 The FMC, Chenin, Ken Forrester Wines

The pinnacle of what we consider to be the finest expression of the grapes of this varietal an icon chenin, a challenge to the world! Rich, layered with dried apricot, vanilla and honey. Will gain additional complexity with cellaring.

    2012 Chenin Blanc, Fairvalley

    (6x75cl)

Fresh fruity nose (apples and pears) with a lemon lift. The palate is clean and crisp with more flavour than you'd expect at this price point. Good acidity, herby edge, and satisfying weight of fruit on the finish.

  6. 2012 Le Limoux, Chateau Rives Blanques

A blend of Mauzac, Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay. Complex and very winey on the nose, with notes of Calvados, apple pie, cloves and herbs, and with oak very much in the background. Apple and peach flavours on the palate. Really quite refined and complex - and very persistent. Lovely.

  7. 2011 Vouvray Demi-Sec, Sylvain Gaudron

Very pale lemon yellow colour. Hints of honey and fresh hay typical of Chenin. Chalky minerality. Backbone of high acidity keeping the wine taut, energetic and fresh, but rounded out with the merest hint of sweetness.

  8. 2014 Footprint Chenin Blanc Semillon, African Wines

An equal blend of Chenin Blanc and Semillon with pale colour and green tints. Grassy overtones with tropical fruit and a touch of heather. Voluptuous palate of peach, apricot and juicy citrus fruit. Medium weight with clean, crisp persistent finish.

  9. NV Vouvray Brut, Didier Champalou

Pale straw in colour with extremely elegant bubbles and a fine mousse. The palate is fine and elegant with well balanced acidity and a crisp dry finish.

  10. 2010 Credo Chenin Blanc, Stellenbosch

Rich straw colour with a golden tint. Honey, pineapple and treacle on the nose give way to intense butterscotch and tropical flavours on the palate. Beautifully balanced acidity and careful use of French oak complete this wine of rare distinction.
