  1. 2008 Aloxe Corton, Domaine Maillard Père et Fils

An opulent and ripe, red wine with flavours of strawberry fruit. Wonderfully expressive and powerful in the mouth it finishes with soft silky tannins and an animal richness so typical of Pinot Noir.

    (6x75cl)

Intense aromas and excellent use of oak. Terrific structure and body with ripe, smooth, black fruit and spices on the palate. Immediately striking due to its richness and extract. Balance between the fruit and the wood is superb.

    2005 Terre Brune, Santadi

    (6x1.5l)

Intense aromas and excellent use of oak. Terrific structure and body with ripe, smooth, black fruit and spices on the palate. Immediately striking due to its richness and extract. Balance between the fruit and the wood is superb.

  4. 2006 Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Claude Dugat

An aromatic nose of ripe red and black cherries with a touch of underbrush. Very pure with a silky texture and lovely intensity of fruit. Seamless through to the finish.

  5. 2007 Barolo DOCG, Vigna La Rosa, Fontanafredda

The Vigna La Rosa Barolo is harmonious, well-rounded and elegant in taste; its very fine and delicate bouquet is reminiscent of faded roses and, with the ageing process, tends to acquire a pronounced earthy style but with a velvety sort of taste.

  6. 2008 Nuits St. Georges Les Damodes, Domaine Fernand Lecheneaut

Pure Pinot Noir with a wonderfully perfumed nose. The palate offers great structure and concentration with ripe, subtle fruit and fine tannins. This is a wine that can be savoured now but that will also last for many years to come.

  7. 2009 Merlot Stellenbosch, Thelema

Deep, brooding purple in colour with some brick red highlights. The nose has pretty red-fruit characters with some hints of spices such as cinnamon and liquorice. The palate is juicy, broad and ripe, packed with red and black berry fruits, a firm, well integrated oaky structure and a bold, well defined finish which makes it a great food wine.

  8. 2004 Château Haut Bernat, Puisseguin St Emilion

Merlot dominated, soft, yet structured claret from the 'right banks'. The wine has ripe tannins and excellent fruit concentration, yet elegant.

  9. 2007 Basket Pressed Cabernets, Skillogalee

This Cabernet blend is another dark, rich wine in the Skillogalee tradition, with intense colour and powerful, warm aromas and flavours. The wine is full and soft with sweet, leafy fruit flavours, rich vanillin oak and firm drying tannins on a lingering finish.

  10. 2006 Château Lamothe Bergeron, Cru Bourgeois, Haut-Médoc

Fine rounded plum fruit on the nose. Warm plush cassis fruit with a hint of oak. Nice balance and length.
