  1. 2008 Nuits St. Georges Les Damodes, Domaine Fernand Lecheneaut

Pure Pinot Noir with a wonderfully perfumed nose. The palate offers great structure and concentration with ripe, subtle fruit and fine tannins. This is a wine that can be savoured now but that will also last for many years to come.

  2. 2008 Beaune 1er Cru Les Theurons, Domaine Régis Rossignol Changarnier

Transparent red colour. Musky, chocolaty fruit; slightly mature-smelling. Real development of fruit aroma in the glass over time. On the palate, sweet, delicate fruit, slightly gamey. Excellent length, subtle fruit, light tannin.

  3. 2010 Sutherland Pinot Noir, Thelema

The wine is light and clean, with earthy wild strawberry and raspberry flavours, and a perfumed and elegant finish.

  4. 2010 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru, Domaine Fernand Lecheneaut

Luxurious and incredibly complex on the nose, demanding many minutes of contemplation before tasting... and what a palate when you do! Beautifuly balanced with style, finesse and length, the mid palate is a riot of red fruit flavours, spicy oak and well integrated, fine grained tannin lasting well into its deliciously rounded, multilayered finish. Superb.

  5. 2012 Bourgogne Pinot Noir, Domaine Maillard

Pale, ruby red in the glass, this a pure and elegant red wine, displaying classic Pinot Noir aromas of wild strawberries and red currants. Smooth, balanced and very moreish.

  6. 2012 Brut Rosé, Camel Valley
    sparkling

    2012 Brut Rosé, Camel Valley

    (6x75cl)

A light pink colour, this has classic English pinot character with floral and light strawberry aromas and an elegant palate with great length.

  7. 2011 Volnay Vielles Vignes, Domaine Henri Delagrange

Ruby coloured. Enticing wild raspberry and bramble aromas. Medium bodied, with supple tannins and generous, soft fruity character.

  8. 2010 Reserve Pinot Noir, Yering Station

Concentrated and complex nose with lovely ripe, intense fruit of black cherry and plums. Fine French oak adds a toasty, smoky aroma. The palate is full, plush and concentrated with great poise and velvety tannins. It has a long, persistent finish.

Very complex in quite full-on style that splits the difference between, say, Mornington and Russian River Valley. Great sweetness. Spicy and flattering – quite long. 17/20 - Jancis Robinson MW

  9. 2010 Chassagne Montrachet V Vignes Rouge, Domaine Bernard Moreau

Deep, rich red colour, leading to very appealing ripe English summer red fruits nose. Palate shows substantial depth and intensity of flavour, with excellent fruit concentration, some grip and great length of flavour. Delicious now but will keep well. Tantalising.

  10. 2010 Brut Noir, Camel Valley
    sparkling

    2010 Brut Noir, Camel Valley

    (6x75cl)

An elegant sparkling wine with a fine filigree mousse, youthful red fruits on the nose, and a light yeasty finish.
