  1. 2009 Monprà Nebbiolo/Barbera Langhe Rosso DOC, Conterno Fantino

Its deep colour is a reminder of the limited yields of the estate, while the richness of the well defined and elegant aromas tell of a perfect microclimate. All the density and extreme warmth on the palate have been perfectly assimilated by the oak and the finish is almost glossy and endless.

  2. 2003 Cuvée Dom Pérignon, Moët et Chandon

It is pale yellow in colour with shades of straw and on the nose has initial aromas of acacia honey and fresh almonds giving away to notes of dried apricots and toasted brioche. On the palate the wine is full, round and complete with balancing acidity, and a long, silky elegant finish.

  3. NV Prosecco Santo Stefano DOC (VSQPRD), Ruggeri

This is a classic prosecco with fine bubbles and a fragrant nose of freshly baked bread and ripe fruit. On the palate it is full with a pleasant vein of acidity and a very slightly semi-sweet background which balances the flavours and adds length.

  4. 2004 Château Haut Bernat, Puisseguin St Emilion

Merlot dominated, soft, yet structured claret from the 'right banks'. The wine has ripe tannins and excellent fruit concentration, yet elegant.

  5. 2007 Basket Pressed Cabernets, Skillogalee

This Cabernet blend is another dark, rich wine in the Skillogalee tradition, with intense colour and powerful, warm aromas and flavours. The wine is full and soft with sweet, leafy fruit flavours, rich vanillin oak and firm drying tannins on a lingering finish.

  6. 2006 Château Lamothe Bergeron, Cru Bourgeois, Haut-Médoc

Fine rounded plum fruit on the nose. Warm plush cassis fruit with a hint of oak. Nice balance and length.

  7. 2007 Rosso di Toscana, Siepi, Castello di Fonterutoli

A highly concentrated wine with sweet and dense tannins, it features a unique and original character that is appreciated by wine lovers throughout the world.

  10. 2006 Brunello di Montalcino, Il Poggione

A ruby red wine with garnet hues and a very intense, lingering and stylish bouquet with small dark berry fruit notes. The palate is dry, warm, quite smooth and tannic and the after-aroma is long-lasting.
