    2009 Pelago, Umani Ronchi

    (6x75cl)

Impenetrable ruby red colour with purple tints. On the nose there are spicy fragrances of coffee, black pepper, liquorice and tobacco. The palate is fruits of the forest, vanilla and mineral aromas, and strong but developed tannins.

  3. 2013 Moscato d'Asti, Moncucco DOCG, Fontanafredda

Attractive bright golden yellow in the glass, with an intensely aromatic nose of white petals, ripe peaches and lightly spiced pears. Medium bodied with a delicious honeyed richness of concentrated grapey fruit flavours, delicately balanced with cleansing acidity and a youthful, lively pettiance that lifts the palate and keeps the wine refreshing and dangerously easy to drink!

  4. 2012 Poggio alla Badiola, Toscana, Castello di Fonterutoli

This wine is made from Sangiovese grapes, by one of Tuscany's best producers. Delicious, plummy, damson fruit flavours with smooth, integrated tannins.

  5. 2004 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, Fattoria dei Barbi

Brick red in colour with earthy brown edges. The nose is pronounced and complex, offering an entertaining array of red and black berry fruits, spices and oaky aromas. The palate is medium to full bodied with a richly complex middle and an everlasting, elegant finish. The tannic structure that dominated the wine in its youth is beginning to mellow and allow mature, secondary characteristics to show. A stunning wine with enormous appeal.

  6. 2013 Viognier, Mandrarossa

    2013 Viognier, Mandrarossa

    (6x75cl)

Bright gold in colour with a deliciously succulent bouquet of fresh cut white flowers and papaya with hints of white spices. The palate is medium bodied with plenty of tropical fruit flavours, good balance and a crisp, clean finish.

  7. NV Grappa Monovitigno Picolit Cru 50%, Nonino

Considered “the Queen of Grappa” all over the world, for the temper, the harmony and the emotion it gives at every sip. Limpid and crystalline, it recalls to the nose the smell of
fresh honeycomb, it displays the scent of acacia flowers, ripe quince, fresh muscatel and newly picked figs. In one’s mouth it clearly confirms the nose with the addition of a taste of bread crust.

  8. 2013 Soave Classico, Le Coste, Le Vigne

Fresh and zesty, with pleasant citrus fruit flavours and balanced acidity, Le Vigne’s Soave Classico is full and elegant with a delicious hint of fresh fruit.

  9. 1972 Amarone Classico DOC, Bertani

A deep garnet red colour witnesses the long barrel ageing. The first impression on the nose is of fresh black cherry aromas, leading into notes of maraschino cherry and plum. Immense depth and complexity on the palate: dried fruit, oolong tea, liquorice, spice, red-berry fruits, and a long velvety vanilla note on the finish. However, the key to this wine has got to be the sweetness level. It is genuinely dry, unlike many modern-style competitors.

  10. 2013 Fiano di Avellino DOCG Bechar

Intense gold colour. On the nose this wine presents aromas of apple, pears and banana. On the palate it has a full bodied rich and persistant flavours of tropical fruit and a refreshing acidity.
