  1. Mandelpfad Ries GG Knipser 12 6/75

Complex nose with the delicacy of white flowers, and the ripeness of passion fruit and pineapple. Powerful palate for a German Riesling with 13.5% alcohol, layers of texture and a beautiful filigree structure to the acidity, leading into a very long finish.

  2. A fine, firm texture with traces of mineral-like flavours intertwined with fruits. Lively, refreshing, spritzy and wonderfully quaffable.

  3. Johannishof Ries Tro QbA Knipser 14 6/75

Lemon and crushed stone aromas. Firm palate on the right side of steely, with lemon fruit, moderate alcohol and very refreshing finish.

  4. Brauneberger Kabinett 14 Paulinshof 6/75

This is classic Mosel Riesling with a fresh lemony fragrance on the nose. In the palate there is an amazingly complex balance of many different factors - fresh acidity and off-dry sweetness - slate driven mineral texture and low alcohol - fresh fruit and a deep oily complexity. Poise and depth.

  5. Kalkmergel Spatburguner Knipser 12 6/75

Quintessentially Pinot Noir nose, with aromatic crushed strawberries and a toasty note. Think Otago. Then the palate is more restrained with dry character, chalky acidity and a Burgundian silkiness to the tannins. Long finish, very balanced and elegant.

  6. BJ Sonnenuhr Spatlese Trocken 14 6/75

Straw yellow with a bouquet of orange blossom and lemon rind. On the palate it is dry with powerful minerality, acidity and grapefruit notes. Long, spicy finish.

  7. Riesling QbA Dry 13 von Buhl 12/75

Bright and lively with distinctive aromas of fresh peach and apricot, with some harder notes of minerality. Full and intense on the palate with the same fruits. Good length with a vibrant, precise finish of fresh grapefruit.

  8. Piesporter Michel 14 Zimmerman 6/75

Easy drinking medium white wine with a floral bouquet and intense flavour. Ideal slightly chilled on its own or with light seafood or salads.

  9. Laumersheimer Ries Kab Knipser 14 6/75

Lemon and crushed stone aromas. Firm palate on the right side of steely, with lemon pulp and a hint of residual sugar, moderate alcohol and very refreshing finish.

  10. Brauneberger Spatlese 14 Paulinshof 6/75

Pale lemon yellow. Minerals, lemons and a hint of classic Riesling hydrocarbon aromas on the nose. Beautiful balance of medium sweetness, playful but structured acidity and low alcohol. Very long finish. Very fine.
