  1. 2008 Realda Cabernet Sauvignon IGT, Anselmi

Classic hints of cassis and cedar on the nose. On the palate the tannins are ripe but firm providing a wonderful structure which supports blackcurrant fruit and balanced acidity. The depth and concentration of this wine mark it out as a real classic.

  2. 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon, Stellenbosch, Thelema

This wine has a complex nose of mint, blackcurrant and chocolate and the palate is juicy and ripe. There is a good layer of toasty oak in the background to complement the black cherry and cassis fruit flavours and grippy mid-palate tannin. Very long, clean and elegant on the finish.

  3. 2007 Basket Pressed Cabernets, Skillogalee

This Cabernet blend is another dark, rich wine in the Skillogalee tradition, with intense colour and powerful, warm aromas and flavours. The wine is full and soft with sweet, leafy fruit flavours, rich vanillin oak and firm drying tannins on a lingering finish.

  4. 2006 Château Lamothe Bergeron, Cru Bourgeois, Haut-Médoc

Fine rounded plum fruit on the nose. Warm plush cassis fruit with a hint of oak. Nice balance and length.

A highly concentrated wine with sweet and dense tannins, it features a unique and original character that is appreciated by wine lovers throughout the world.

  6. 2007 Château Talbot, Cru Classé, St. Julien

Deep ruby in colour. A marvellous array of flavours and aromas, especially blackcurrants, wild berries, leather, herbs, chocolate, vanilla, smoky oak and spices. The tannic structure is tight, well integrated and superbly crafted, beginning to soften now and revealing a seductive side to this famous wine.

  7. 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, Le Vigne

Displays a lovely clean and leafy blackcurranty nose. The palate is medium bodied, soft and juicy with those blackcurrants again and has a crunchy, clean finish.

  8. 2007 Château Lynch Bages, Pauillac

On the nose, the freshness of the fruit stands out, finding subtle harmony with the wood. On the palate, it is rounded, smooth and mellowed. The tannins are silky and very ripe. The dazzling finish oozes with great class and is astonishingly long.

  9. 2006 Château Rauzan-Ségla, 2ème Cru Classé

Vibrant purple in colour, the nose is packed with brambly fruit with elements of smoke and coffee. Round and supple with finely textured tannins structuring the midpalate alongside spicy red berry fruit and well defined oak influence. Classic, approachable claret style.

  10. 2007 Terra Rossa Cabernet Sauvignon, Parker Estate

Deep crimson red in colour, with some purple highlights. The nose is extremely complex with cool vintage fruit characters of black olive and prune, combined with sweet earth and truffle notes. The palate is sweet and dense with a super fleshy mouth feel and dense dark fruit flavours of cedar, prune, cassis and liquorice. The finish is very long with a firm finish.
