    2009 Château d'Escurac

    (12x75cl)

Good dark fruits with a hint of spicy oak. Palate is bright and juicy with well-balanced fruit, oak and appealing tannins. Will improve for up to 5 years.

  2. 2004 Château Gruaud Larose, Cru Classé, St. Julien

A forward, deep purple wine with a sweet blueberry, kirsch and jam scented nose, medium bodied with more rounded up-front fruit than most of the other serious wines of St. Julien.

  3. 2009 Basket Pressed Cabernets, Skillogalee

This Cabernet blend is another dark, rich wine in the Skillogalee tradition, with intense colour and powerful, warm aromas and flavours. The wine is full and soft with sweet, leafy fruit flavours, rich vanillin oak and firm drying tannins on a lingering finish.

  4. 2011 Chateau Mille Roses, Margaux

Deep ruby with top notes of roses and raspberry eau de vie, a middle register showing spicy wood with vanilla, almond and plum pudding and finally cocoa and coffee. Layered, very fine tannins and a medium body with incredible length and depth.

  5. 2011 Cabernet, Xanadu
    redwine

    2011 Cabernet, Xanadu

    (6x75cl)

Full bodied and generous, displaying powerful fruit characteristics. Blackcurrants and dark fleshy fruits combine with spicy/vanillin oak characters. The wine is balanced with dense fruit, firm tannins and a lingering finish.

  6. 2012 El Viento Cabernet Sauvignon, Viña Leyda

Deep, dark Cabernet Sauvignon with black cherry and rich cassis flavours. Sumptuous and luscious flavours of ripe berries on the palate.

  7. 2009 Heyden's Courage Red, Welmoed

: A judicious combination of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon to deliver a dark coloured red with a lip-smacking taste.

  8. 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, Cannonball

Balance in the mouth is exceptional from start to finish - strawberry, blueberry, and red apple dipped in dark chocolate, all-spice and a layer of toasted oak. Tannins are structured but not overwhelming, with very well balanced acidity.

  9. 2011 Miamup Cab Sauvignon, Howard Park

Deep ruby red in colour with aromas of youthful and classic cabernet aromas of sweet mint, poached red fruits, savoury herbs and a touch of mocha and toasted oak.

  10. 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, Man Vintners

A bold and juicy red wine with red-berry fruit aromas and a touch of oak spice. Classic cabernet cassis and red-currant fruit flavours with silky tannins and long finish.
