  1. 2009 Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Lucien Boillot

Medium/full-bodied, exceptionally complex with aromas of bacon, black cherries, liquorice, pencil lead, raspberry jam, a smokiness and dry toast. On the palate one can find a balanced acidity, integrated oak, modest tannins and cocoa powder, coffee, mushroom, peat moss, plum flavours jam, smoky.

  2. 2009 Nuits St. Georges, Domaine Fernand Lecheneaut

This outstanding wine has a deep ruby red colour and evolved nose of red fruit and spice. Nuits' has a reputation for slightly aggressive tannins but this is not the case here, with wonderfully rounded ripe berry fruit and soft voluptuous tannins. The palate is rich and well balanced, and the finish is extremely long and elegant.

  3. 2011 Pouilly Fuissé Clos sur la Roche, Domaine Saumaize Michelin

Fragrant minerals, white fruit and floral aromas are abundant on the nose. It is powerfull and concentrated on the palate with plenty of peach, apple and ripe pear fruits coating its multi faceted mineral edge. The finish stays full and stony, with a citrus finish.

  4. 2010 Gevrey-Chambertin, Les Evocelles, Domaine Lucien Boillot

The bouquet exudes oak and charm. Rich and mouthfilling with great persistence. The fullness hides the steely core at first. Approachable young but worth keeping.

  5. 2011 Chassagne Montrachet Blanc, Domaine Bernard Moreau

Medium lemon yellow in the glass. Fruity nose showing grapefruit, pear, and well-judged oak. On the palate, the finesse and balance of the wine comes through with enlivening acidity and a complex seam of minerality. Old World subtlety and depth at its best.

  6. 2012 Mâcon-Villages, Cave de l'Aurore

Pale gold in colour with a subtle nose of tropical fruit and refined oak. The palate is well balanced with ripe fruit and fresh well balanced acidity. The finish is long and concentrated with hints of apples and a touch of creaminess.

    2012 Fleurie, Louis Tête

    (12x37.5cl)

Wonderfully perfumed with juicy, ripe sweetness, cherry and chocolate flavours and a raspberry finish, with a touch of spiciness.

  8. 2012 Brouilly, Domaine du Vissoux

Wild cherry aroma. Dry with bright acidity, a beautiful naturalness to the fruit and some tannic grip to go with food. A serious and long-lived Beaujolais.

  9. 2012 Laforêt Bourgogne Chardonnay, Joseph Drouhin

Beautiful citrus aromas, followed by honey and vanilla on the palate. The fruit and hint of oak of a Macon, but the freshness and line of a Chablis. Juicy and moreish.

  10. 2009 Beaune, 1er Cru Clos du Roi, Domaine J & H Boillot

A delicious mouthful of Pinot Noir. Ripe, rich, smoky black cherry, game, leather spice and mocha notes are evident in its detailed intricate personality. Long, smooth, persistent finish.
