  1. 2012 Chardonnay Formigar Cornell DOC, Colterenzio

Pale yellow with greenish reflexes; nutty on the nose with a hint of exotic fruits such as mango and honeydew melon overlaying a discreet aroma of oak; full and broad on the palate, the richness cut by firm acidity.

  2. 2014 Reserve Chardonnay, Tooma River

Chardonnay thrives in the warm and sun kissed Australian vineyard – delivering an unmistakeably vibrant and fruit driven style. This wine is no exception and is packed with grapefruit, lime and melon flavours, all bound up with a zesty, crisp citrus balance which cuts through to the finish. A deliciously refreshing glass by itself, this is also a great partner for full flavoured fish, crustaceans or spicy Asian influenced dishes.

  3. 2010 Barolo, Vigna Mosconi DOCG, Conterno Fantino

A deep garnet ruby red, with a powerful, lingering nose conjuring up fruits of the forest and dog-roses. A dry taste, backed with body.

  4. 2013 Muscadet de Sevre et Maine sur lie V V, Château du Poyet

Pale yellow in colour with a touch of complexity on the nose brought about by ageing on the lees. The palate is well balanced with surprisingly good weight and concentration followed by a clean, crisp finish.

  5. 2011 Chablis 1er Cru Forets, Domaine Louis Michel

Very mineral nose reminiscent of rain on stones on a hot day. Deliciously lemony fresh acidity, with real Chablis mineral typicity without any hint of austerity. Long.

  6. 2009 Shiraz, Tappa Pass, Henschke

Very deep crimson in colour. The nose is concentrated and complex, with sweet lifted ripe aromas of spicy blackberries, blueberries and prunes, with hints of chocolate, anise and tar. The palate is sweet, ripe and lush, concentrated and complex, with intense blackberry fruits, plum, anise, cedar and tar. The texture is fleshy with silky layered tannins, excellent balance and great length.

  7. 2014 Gavi Briccotondo, Fontanafredda

Lemons and minerals on the nose followed by a fresh palate with medium body and no oak.

  8. NV Cuveé Especial Brut, Pere Ventura

This elegantly balanced Cava has fine, frothy bubbles and vibrant golden hue. The aromas of crunchy green apple and white peach come to the fore on the nose, alongside hints of lemon balm and toasted brioche.

  9. 2012 Milestone Series Syrah, Crossroads

Sourced from the famous Hawke’s Bay sub-region of Gimblett Gravels, this complex floral wine, with pepper, cherry, plum, blueberry and smoky aromas has a supple, silky palate with bass notes of sweet fruit, fine tannins, and a long spicy finish.

  10. 2011 I Capitelli IGT, Anselmi

Stunningly rich and complex, packed with apricot, honey and pear flavours with tobacco and cedar notes, it is smooth, subtle and velvety.
