    Has a rich, bright, golden yellow hue and an aromatic, complex nose of lime marmalade, guava and melon fruit and toasty oak nuances. The palate is medium to full bodied and rounded, packed with luscious tropical fruit flavours, a delicious mineral streak and well integrated, nutty oak which lends a creamy texture in the mouth. Finishes soft and succulent.

  6. 2003 Cuvée Dom Pérignon, Moët et Chandon

    It is pale yellow in colour with shades of straw and on the nose has initial aromas of acacia honey and fresh almonds giving away to notes of dried apricots and toasted brioche. On the palate the wine is full, round and complete with balancing acidity, and a long, silky elegant finish.

    Well developed with ripe, tropical fruit on the nose and an enticing note of honey leading to an intense and concentrated palate with well balanced acidity and a crisp, clean, lengthy finish.

    Pale yellow with greenish reflexes; nutty on the nose with a hint of exotic fruits such as mango and honeydew melon overlaying a discreet aroma of oak; full and broad on the palate, the richness cut by firm acidity.

  9. 2006 Chablis, Vieilles Vignes Domaine de Vauroux

    Selected from the domain's oldest vines this Chablis is deep lemon yellow with a wonderfully developed nose of stewed apples and cream. The wine also has a creamy texture on the palate which is underscored by a typical minerally acidity, and a long clean finish.

  10. 1998 Taittinger, Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs

    On the nose the aromas are delicate and with a subtle nuances of wood, but there is great underlying depth. On the palate it offers a lively, clean but balanced first impression. It is fine and lean yet displays excellent length. Flavours of candied citrus fruits predominate, but there is a balanced touch of nuttiness.
