    The nose is fresh, fruity and aromatic, with ripe tropical and dried fruit characteristics. The palate is medium bodied with a succulent texture, balanced alcohol and acidity and a great concentration of dried fruit flavours, such as apricot and peach, with a honeyed, silky finish.

    If you are expecting a heavy lychee-richness you will be surprised by the incredibly pure fresh and grapey nose of this Alsace classic. The palate is dry, but extremely full bodied, with a gorgeous mouthfilling texture leading into a lifted peppery finish.

    An aromatic lift of zested lime skin and citrus flower provides an enticing entry to the wine. The palate has an upfront burst of citrus juice, a generous fruity weight and a crisp, mineral acidity to finish.

    Very pale lemon yellow colour. Hints of honey and fresh hay typical of Chenin. Chalky minerality. Backbone of high acidity keeping the wine taut, energetic and fresh, but rounded out with the merest hint of sweetness.

    Aromatically there are orange blossoms, honeysuckle and jasmine. On the palate it's a real citrus fiesta with sweet lemon, limes and mandarins. There is also an element of minerality about the wine with subtle notes of stone fruit and almonds. The sugar acid balance is described as 'off dry' and the finish is clean making this a good aperitif and food wine.

    he bouquet is reminiscent of exotic fruits, matured peers, hawthorn and acacia honey. In the mouth is warm, velvety, sweet with a nice acidity level, giving the wine freshness and long lasting aftertaste.
