  1. 2004 Château Haut Bernat, Puisseguin St Emilion

Merlot dominated, soft, yet structured claret from the 'right banks'. The wine has ripe tannins and excellent fruit concentration, yet elegant.

  2. 2013 Condrieu Les Chaillets, Vieilles Vignes, Domaine Cuilleron

Wonderfully opulent and perfumed on the nose with dollops of honey allied to blossom and spicy complexity. The palate is rich and full again with great acidity, giving the wine and exceptional balance, and we suspect longevity.

  3. 2013 Merlot, Welmoed

    2013 Merlot, Welmoed

    (6x75cl)

A mellow yet richly flavoured red wine with hints of juicy red fruits and a velvety palate.

  4. 2014 Footprint Chenin Blanc Semillon, African Wines

An equal blend of Chenin Blanc and Semillon with pale colour and green tints. Grassy overtones with tropical fruit and a touch of heather. Voluptuous palate of peach, apricot and juicy citrus fruit. Medium weight with clean, crisp persistent finish.

  5. 2011 Monprà Nebbiolo/Barbera Langhe Rosso DOC, Conterno Fantino

Its deep colour is a reminder of the limited yields of the estate, while the richness of the well defined and elegant aromas tell of a perfect microclimate. All the density and extreme warmth on the palate have been perfectly assimilated by the oak and the finish is almost glossy and endless.

  6. 2012 Ladies who shoot their Lunch Wild Ferment Chardonnay, Fowles Wine

Pale straw in colour. Mineral notes acquiesce to intense aromas of melon, peach and subtle vanilla. The palate is complex and full bodied with balanced oak notes, a wonderfully creamy texture and great length of flavour.

  7. 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, Cannonball

Balance in the mouth is exceptional from start to finish - strawberry, blueberry, and red apple dipped in dark chocolate, all-spice and a layer of toasted oak. Tannins are structured but not overwhelming, with very well balanced acidity.

  8. 2004 Château Gruaud Larose, Cru Classé, St. Julien

A forward, deep purple wine with a sweet blueberry, kirsch and jam scented nose, medium bodied with more rounded up-front fruit than most of the other serious wines of St. Julien.

  9. 2001 Pommard Les Perrières, Domaine Jean-Michel Gaunoux

Vibrantly bright, with a touch of mahogany toward the rim. The nose is generous in its complexity with fine and elegant red berry fruits and hints of earthy spices. The palate is medium bodied, soft, juicy and lengthy showing piercing strawberry and cherry fruits layered over a carpet of mushrooms, strawberry leaf and forest floor complexity. The finish is firm, clean and lengthy.

  10. 2012 Tormentoso Mourvèdre Reserve, Man Vintners

A complex nose of berry fruit that is complemented by Fynbos (heather/bracken) and spice aromas. Palate is layered with flavours of cloves, leathery spice and red fruit. A dry and savoury finish.
